A neon-lit nighttime street scene in San Francisco’s Chinatown, with a young Asian American woman in a red cheongsam standing in the foreground. She looks pensively to the side, illuminated by the colorful glow of city lights and a vintage sign reading “Telegraph Club.” The title “Last Night at the Telegraph Club” appears in bold, glowing letters above her, and the author’s name, Malinda Lo, is displayed beneath. The overall atmosphere is moody and evocative, capturing a sense of longing and nostalgia.
