January 28- Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell

Inspired by the story behind Shakespeare’s Hamlet, O’Farrell’s Hamnet explores love, grief, and the loss of a child. In 1580s England, Agnes—mysterious and gifted—marries and has three children. When her son Hamnet dies at eleven, the tragedy shapes the family and later inspires the play Hamlet.
